Regardless I am happy they made the playoffs, they need to get their defense addressed. I would like to see more aggressive powerplay. I can't understand why they don't camp a guy out in front of the crease to blind the goalie. It will usually pull at least one defense-man. Is Dillon going to make it back?

The first two periods of this game have been as solid a Championship game as I have ever seen just intense. The Stars have upped their game.

Great game by the Stars. I have to hand it to Daley, he has really stepped up his play leading up to the playoffs. Goliogoski still can't keep the puck in the offensive zone to save his life though. The extra double minor it Garbutt was B.S. Sucked to see Robidas reinjure his leg. I hope he can come back from it, and it was a class thing for the fans to chant his name as he was helped off the ice.

And Jamie Benn is a beast. He steamrolled at least 3 ducks last night.

The playing of the "Duck Tales" theme over the PA was priceless.

Yes Daley hit some crazy new level I had no idea was in him. Kari was bulletproof.

I was just handed tickets to tomorrow night's game! :)

The great Jaydub hooked me up for tonight. I was so excited, I wrote a letter to his family, parents and boss all praising his good name, but forgot to sign my name. I sure hope they figure it out.

I am so pumped I can not see straight. I literally yelled myself voiceless.

Anderson got benched right in front of me, he seemed pissed. Makes me think we are going to win this series.

Yeah, I think the Stars have a chance here. Before the game, the Mighty Ducks were crying that the Stars were dirty, and thugs. The worst thing you can do in playoff hockey is publicly admit you have a bruised taint. The Stars got under their skin from the puck drop. Andersen's confidence could be shaken, and there could be a goalie controversy between he and Hiller. Then, Boudreau putting in goons and agitators at the end of the game just to stir the pot and try to start crap, could get him in trouble.

Its funny because the Ducks are Dirty players and get away with tons. If the ducks are on the penalty kill they will take a flagrant shot at someone every time with about 20 seconds left and never get called. They slammed Kari last night for as classic an interfering with the goalie as I have seen and no call. They hit late all the time, if a Star is near their bench on a change they take a free shot on the way to the bench. No calls. I think they are one of if not the dirtiest team in the league. That end of the game with the goon squad was just embarrassing for the ducks, I get the feeling that if the Ducks lose this series and I think they will now, Boudreau will be fired.

Crappy refs don't help either. Garbutt took a high sticking call seconds after nearly being decapitated. A Star, Niushkin I think, takes a weak call, then on the ensuing faceoff, the Duck center does his best impression of a Kung Fu Monk and uses his stick as a Bo Staff and wedges it under the Stars' player's legs and lifts him off the ice and back down on his back...no call.

Some of the worst officiating in all of the playoffs have been in this series, and that is saying something considering how poor they have been the whole playoffs. Even still, we had a two goal lead and took our feet off of their throats. Corey Fairy is a freaking prick, and now I remember why I hate the Mighty Ducks more than any of the other California teams. Dallas and St Louis are both out, go Boston or Montreal.

The Ducks are a dirty team, maybe that makes them dirty birds. Its is hard to beat the top seed and the refs. The refs had a considerable influence in this series, very pro duck in the end. I have never seen that kind of lopsided calling.
