Craig Robertson with an interception today

I'm anxious to see how the coaching change in CLE impacts Robertson.

This off-season, he'll be an Exclusive-Rights Free Agent...

"An Exclusive-Rights Free Agent is an NFL player who is not under contract, but has only two years of NFL experience. If his former club makes him an offer at the three year veteran minimum salary, then that's it, he has to take it or leave the NFL. These guys have no right to negotiate with other teams. They are "free" only in the sense that they're free to quit." http://football.calsci.com/FreeAgency.html

Hoping Ray Horton hangs around as DC up there. He recently described Robertson's season as "adequate" but seemed to indicate a long-term plan for his development.

"'Hopefully, he will come back stronger off the knee injury and I know he’ll be smarter being his second year in (Horton’s) system,' the defensive coordinator said." http://www.cleveland.com/browns/index.ssf/2013/12/cleveland_browns_ilb_craig_rob.html

I'm a big Browns fan watched every game this year. Craig played well at times specifically against the run. Where he struggled was in pass coverage against athletic backs who where threats out of the backfield. Reggie Bush had a field day against him. Some of the pass catching TEs got the better of him too. Overall I'd say he had a decent year. I think his position (ILB) is one the Browns will look to upgrade this offseason.
