Just got a commitment from a 4-star, almost 5-star, junior running back with offers from Bama, Auburn, FSU, Florida, Georgia, LSU, okay you get it. Has offers from basically everyone.

He's got a long ways to go until 2015 signing day, but it makes me think. When will we see a 4-star commit to UNT? It doesn't have to happen, but can't help but ask why not North Texas?

6 straight winning seasons with at least half of them being 10 win seasons where we beat a P5 team in the regular season and a bowl game... then maybe we see one 4* recruit, who is smart enough not to be exploited by some of those programs who like to collect athletes, will choose to come here!

"Why not North Texas indeed!"

You know good and well that there is more to this story. NOONE passes on those offers for FAU without there being more to the story

I think one of his high school coaches, maybe head coach, got hired on their staff.

Also, happens all over the country, but especially in Florida recruits are notorious for making spur-of-the-moment commitments that they have no intention of keeping and closing off their recruitment. Very highly doubt this kid signs with FAU in February 2015.

Just got me to thinking what it would be like to see us snag a 4-star commitment. Really like the way we are headed in recruiting and especially on the field.

It was always just a matter of time, but Jordan Scarlett has decommitted from FAU. Will be interesting to see if that class starts to lose their momentum and maybe some more commits. Scarlett has 2 high school teammates currently committed to FAU.
