first one. i have been a great fan ever since my first taste of mean green football was the dodge era. i transferred in 07.

I am a 68-year old virgin. There was always something going on to prevent me from breaking away to New Orleans, and I have always regretted not experiencing that. I have seen a few Cotton Bowl games (pre-Jerry World) over the years and only once had to leave due to a frozen butt. I hope we will have reasonable temperature with little wind and no rain this year when I lose my UNT virginity. I'm asking Mother Nature to be gentle.

This will be my 2nd UNT bowl game. I have been to the Sun bowl once, the Orange bowl twice and the Cotton bowl once rooting for another team. Bowls are a wonderful experience especially when you win.

My motto is go when we are in. Those poor mean green souls in 48 never knew they would have to wait 52 years for another. This will be my 5th Go Mean Green!!!!!

First in person. I went to the actual Cotton Bowl (pre-Jerry World Cotton Bowl) from 2001-2007. I went to the HOD bowl last year so I'm familiar with the Cotton Bowl. Can't wait!!! GMG

Same for me... was never able to get a break from work to attend the 4 NO bowl games (although I did catch all 4 on TV).

HOD will be my first - hopefully the first of many bowl games for the Mean Green this decade
