Cotton Bowl Stadium: Personal seat backs?

I'd love to bring in my seat back and I don't see it specifically addressed in the Stadium Policies below...

Stadium Policies

• Spectators may not bring food or beverages into the Cotton Bowl stadium.
• Cans, bottles, coolers, umbrellas, fireworks, air horns, weapons, illegal contraband, or other objects that can be used as missiles or projectiles are prohibited.
• Video cameras are prohibited for this game.
• All guests are subject to search by stadium personnel.
• Medium bags and purses are allowed in the stadium but are subject to search.
• No one is allowed on the playing surface without proper credentials.
• Should guests experience any discomfort because of the actions of others, please report any incident to the nearest usher. All ushers and usher supervisors are provided by Cotton Bowl Stadium.

They used to rent chair backs. Don't know if they still do or not. I'm looking gor a

great New Years Day with a big UNT win.

Thank you for recognizing that some of us can no longer stand for the game. Hopefully, no one that wants to stand will be in front of me. I'd sure hate to have paid $160 (wife and I) and not be able to see the game. Backs and knees have a way of deteriorating over time.

Most of the fans I've stood/sat with are good about giving people room to view the game through.

I hope no one is standing in front of my mother in law or son. I would not want to be around during that conversation. So let's hope it's not standing the entire time... My wife makes me sit at home games to not be rude so hopefully other people are considerate as well. Even though I hate sitting still!

It's not a matter of his mother-in-law's rules, it's a matter of common courtesy. If you find yourself in a place where you can stand without obstructing others' views, by all means, stand the whole game. But try to be considerate of others.

I called the Cotton Bowl Stadium.. Spoke with the Assistant manager and he told me that there were seat backs but ONLY on the home side of the field. North Texas is on the visitors side of the field. The belter side, he told me for television. According to my contact, seat backs can be brought into the stadium.

He also wanted to know about the whole "Mean Green" and "Eagles" thing. I set him straight and told him about the Mean Joe Green misnomer for free.
