Wow...they're going to fly them into Dallas from wherever? Isn't that one of the reasons teams stay in hotels before a game - so that they don't go AWOL? I wonder how tight of a leash they have on their players, because that could get really weird if a bunch of them miss their flights.

What an embarrassment. UNLV alumni should hang there head in shame. Maybe they should make the bowl split 60/40 UNT since we have to carry the COMPLETE load for attendance.

200 tickets is crap. If the roles were reversed, I have no doubt that UNT would sell at least 3k tickets to the Las Vegas bowl, maybe more.

Pick it up, UNLV. You are embarrassing yourselves.

True, but I think L.V. is a better destination than dallas at any time, especially on nye.

The players will have all gone home for Christmas. It is cheaper for UNLV to fly them from wherever "home" is straight to Dallas than to bring them all back to Vegas then charter everyone to Dallas. No different than the "tight leash" UNT will have on its players when they go home this week.

:bling: And amazingly, we have not purchased (or will purchase the next few days) a pretty impressive number of tickets to watch a non-Big 10 school (as the last 3 CUSA host teams did per the HOD agreement) or any Power 5 school to take the place of a Big 10 school because)............."WE" are buying tickets...

...to watch this Mean Green football team "who turned this whole darn thing around" because most all of us who are not permanent residence of the Land of Ned have bought into what Dan McCarney has given us even during this..........the Giving Season.

GMG!

I'd be willing to bet that the 5,100 UNLV tickets become a part of the official attendance since the Rebels have to pay for them anyway. Maybe the City of Dallas can give those free to City of Dallas employees so that there are actual BIS.
