Guyer didn't exist when Emmitt went to Ryan.

So he hates the mere existence of Guyer? If Guyer did not exist then Ryan would be like Allen and would be dominating every year because they would be twice the size of other schools in the district?

Hmmmm

Allen followed the SLC blueprint. Keep one high school, even if it does have 10k students, just so you can win at football.

Kinda the reason I don't follow high school football for anything but recruiting purposes.

Actually they went with the blueprint of Plano, till Plano split up of course. Like Old Plano, Allen is so damn big,..5,987 students that they have a ton of talent to choose from.

The school that is currently using the Southlake model is Aledo, where they have the resources to reach out and recruit and bring in top tallent transfers. Only Aledo has taken it a step further, branching out from coast to coast.

I laughed my ass off yesterday after reading a quote from Buchanon in a Brazossports.com article discussing Brenham QB Caleb Hill, and Buchanon says... ""Having that kid move in from Academy was a big plus for them,". LOL... He should know. He beat them with at least 7 transfers of his own.
