I just got word that the DCTA and DART are going to run 2 free trains to the HOD in the morning of January 1 and 2 after the game. Fans will have to have a game ticket in hand AND they will have to get a free TRANSIT PASS to ride. Transit Passes will be available starting Dec 26 at the DCTA ticket office or at the North TExas ticket office.

There will be more on this very soon.

Will this info be available on MeanGreenSports.com and Facebook?

It was posted on Facebook a bit ago. My question is: Will it affect the DART schedule where they announced the trains would run New Years Day? We planned to take the Green Line from Trinity Mills at 8:00a that would get us at the Cotton Bowl by the time the gates open at 9:30 (we like to watch warm-ups).

We won't be in town any way to pick up the free pass. :(

I haven't seen where DART is doing the free passes. DART runs everything 30 minutes according to their holiday/weekend schedule. I have asked them questions on the Twitter account before and they have answered me pretty quick. There are numerous ways you can get in touch with DART.

I doubt the A-Train will impact the DART schedule at all. Only concern I might have is capacity if this happens to be one of the final trains heading towards the Fair Park station.

Wasn't planning to do the free pass. From the other thread, it looks like we can still take the 7:00a train from Trinity.
