Great Job 90 Grad! The Hunt Building will be running content containing University of North Texas on the buildings Ribbon display but only on January 1st, you'll have to stay downtown after the game to see the results and I think we will share time with Baylor. Hunt already has NYE content which they were unwilling to change. Reunion/Hyatt Tower is pretty much sticking with what has been reported by UNT 90 Grad. Still no final word from Fountain Place.

I sent an email to Dallas City Councilman Adam Medrano whose district covers part of Downtown Dallas and is a UNT alum to see if he could help get the word out to any businesses that have the ability to change their lights to green.

Latest from the folks at Reunion/Hyatt Tower via email:

... You will be pleased to know that we are taking action on this already and will definitely have a show for UNT on the 31st and, if (NO, MAKE THAT WHEN) UNT wins the game, we will run a celebratory show for the Mean Green on the 1st...

***The Ball is visible from the Omni and I can't wait to see what they have in store for the Mean Green Nation!

Yup, I got something similar back!

We did a good job letting them hear it from us.

Lee Jackson is on the Board of Directors of Downtown Dallas, Inc. and can bring a lot of clout to this movement. Let him know what has been done so far and what is still needed. He wants this to be a premier event for UNT.

I just spoke with someone at 1400 Hi Line (20ish story apartment building at the intersection of the Dallas North Tollway and I-35E), and she so happens to be a UNT alum. She is working to find out what can be done to get the lights changed to green for NYE, and she thought it was a great idea. We shall see if this gets anywhere.
