When I was a Drill Sergeant at Fort Sill, Oklahoma we would bus basic trainees to any Army game that was close. We bussed well over 1000 to a game at TCU and returned to Fort Sill that night. Plus, when I was stationed at Fort Hood (Fort Cavazos now) MWR (Morale, Welfare, and Recreation) would provide tickets to Soldiers. Most of the people that seem like they are Cadets are probably not because it's cheaper to move local Soldiers than to pay to fly Cadets here and house them. People within three hours can come to the game and return without housing cost. Fort Sill and Fort Hood are both within 3 hours of Denton.
Sources: Army QB Bryson Daily to return against North Texas
According to sources, Daily has "looked like himself" since he returned to practice. But there is some concern, according to sources, about his ability to play a full game coming off a two-week stretch where he took part in only one practice and one walk-through.
The possibility looms that backup quarterback Dewayne Coleman, who started his first career game against Air Force, will end up getting snaps. Until late this week, he had taken all the snaps with Army's first-team offense the past two weeks.
