RB is the easiest position to replace. Andrew Tucker, Zac Whitfield, Carlos Harris and even Blake Dunham (haha) were good RB in high school and could be moved there in emergency.

I agree. But my original point in all that was that Willie Ivery would be better served at running back for us than receiver, where we have 4 other freshman coming in. But as someone said, he is coming in to play running back so that's good.

Even though #35 will be missed, I feel good about our LB corps. I am very worried about the D-line--we are losing every starter.

North Texas should aim high and then get what it can (with starting ability) with a JUCO defensive lineman (or 2) every recruiting season. Haven't had a JUCO DL with significant quality since Michael Pruitt of last decade. Of course, as I recall he made a JUCO All American team, too.

We seem to have no problem getting RB's, DB's, LB's and even OL in recruiting or FBS transfers, but not so much with defensive linemen. Of course, outside the usual Top 25 or so schools, we are not alone with this problem.

Annabel Stephan of Scout Recruiting Service (check it out when you can---it is not mean't to be a competing forum with Harry's board, either)....................anyway, Scout's Ms. Stephan was in the Apogee Stadium press box last Monday for 2 play-off games and posted on Inside North Texas that one particular very high quality DL playing in one of those game was very interested in North Texas.
