Isn't there a social media expert on the staff now? Didn't he come on here and introduce himself? Wonder what he's up to.

There is def someone out there. Both MGS and NT Facebook pages respond to posts and often post quite a few times a day. I just don't know why they don't use the Event functionality which could EASILY expand awareness and at ZERO cost.

And magically this appears in my email box.

Good work, Joe.

Plus for a small cost you could "promote" the event on FB and it would show up in the "recommended" spots on the feed. Come on, UNT...over a week and still waiting for...what?

UNLV as an opponent was just a death blow for a great UNT fan showing. Still trying to get one additional person to fill out the 4 seats I purchased.

And it hasn't been easy.

That and the ticket price together aren't helpful. If we were playing Michigan I don't think the price would seem as much of an issue.

Seems the $75 ticket price is meant to cover the future groupon price and the cheap tickets to city employees, etc.

Maybe the nonprofits that the bowl donates money toward are why the ticket price is high and not the discounts for tickets. Edited by UNTFan23

Expenses will be approximately $800,000. Between selling tickets — the Rebels have a $400,000 commitment — and securing sponsors, UNLV hopes to come close to breaking even but at this point faces closer to a $200,000 deficit.

This may have been posted already but hopefully UNLV can sell their committment and the stadium will have at least a little bit of opposing colors.
