Damn it!!!

Rick

We need to start an effort right now to get TRE to run an "event" train to drop people off and pick them up at the AAC before and after the game. I'm sure these things have been done and can be done.

According to DCTA, they will NOT be running trains on NYD.

NYE has limited service.

Well eff me and the train I can't ride in on...shiatt. ..

Thanks for the info though...

Does anyone know how difficult it would be to take the train in downtown Fort Worth and connect to Dart rail and get over to fair park?

Very easy. Get off of the TRE at the American Airline Center station and hop on the next DART Green Line to Fair Park. Incidentally, there are a couple of neat bars that we frequent right across the street(Perry Ave)from where you step off the Green Line at the entrance to the fairgrounds.

Well I love making those train trips myself, but the TRE does nor operate on Sundays or holidays, like NYD, except for rare occasions like the third game of the NBA finals whenever the Mavs played in that.

I forgot about that, eulessismore. Public transportation is not going to work until it takes week-end entertainment into account. Weekend revelers need public transportation as drinking and driving is becoming more and more more unacceptable.

But the Dallas cab companies who never come when you call them and charge $85 bucks for a three-block trip when they do would lose business if people had a safe, affordable alternative!

I would suggest that between now and January 1, that we refer to that route in Dallas County as the MEAN GREEN LINE.

GO MEAN GREEN

I like it. I am definitely taking the Mean Green Line to the game!
