I don't recall a big discussion concerning our students ability to attend the NOLA Bowls ten years ago and that trip required transportation (airfare or gas), hotel room for a couple of nights minimum, partying money and a ticket. The HOD requires partying money and a ticket, but for most students travel and lodging are not needed. So what's the big concern over the costs involved?

NOB was mostly alumni. Student turnout was always low, especially the year it was scheduled during finals week.

The bigger concern for students is still being sober enough and awake that early on January 1st to make it there.

I think it's a good sign that students are concerned with getting into the game. Hopefully the price adjustment is reasonable
