Interesting, it appears that the recruits will be required to purchase their own tickets to the bowl games whether it be on official or unofficial visits.

Unofficial Visits:

13.7.2.4
NCAA Championships or Other Postseason Contests.
The provision of complimentary or reduced-cost admissions to prospective student-athletes for an NCAA championship (all rounds) or other post
season contests (e.g., bowl game, NAIA or NIT championship) constitutes excessive entertainment and is prohibited. The prospective student-athlete may purchase tickets to such events only in the same manner as any other member of the general public.

Official Visits:
3.6.7.2.3
NCAA Championships or Other Postseason Contests.
The provision of complimentary or reduced-cost admissions to prospective student-athletes for an NCAA championship (all rounds) or other postseason contests (e.g., bowl game, NAIA or NIT championship) constitutes excessive entertainment and is prohibited. Yeah, very weird.

"Hey, can I check out the bowl game?"

"Sure. You got 75 bucks and transportation?"

"No..."

"Okay, you got ESPNU?"

"No..."

"But you still want to come play for us, right? Right?"

"....."

OK, but they can buy the cheap end-zone seats and still be down on the sidelines like a normal visit right?

I think so.

Eh, I don't think so, unfortunately. Pretty sure you're only allowed to host recruits on the sidelines for home games. Maybe they would be allowed VIP locker room access or something.

Never saw a recruit at a Bowl on the sideline or in the locker room. They will for sure get phone calls from coaches to remind them to watch though.

DT 90 is right. I see them on the field prior to the games. But they go into the stands during. I'm sure they will pay student ticket prices and may have their tickets in a separate line. The key is they will have a big game that they can be invited to attend during their school break that is close by!
