Based solely upon each school's commercials, I've determined that your typical Marshall grad is your reliable local construction contractor while all the Rice grads are future Bond villains.

Dallas Green really hates Denton and High school football apparently.

High School football in the rest of Texas is great just not supported by little "d"also known as the"sorriest sports town in America! " Only way you draw Dentonites to ANY FOOTBALL is give away the tickets like SMU is doing today. Even then the local populace would not learn that there had been a game until a week later. If Apogee was in Lewisville sell outs would be the norm!!!

Dallas is right about one thing: I think Denton is consistently rated one of the worst sports towns in the country.

I don't think I've seen that ranking in a couple years. Maybe we're moving up with the upgrades and team records?

C'mon...Lewisville is sexy and you know it.

Lewisville... The Place!

* I suppose I'll have to explain this one, but I'm going to wait to see if anyone recognizes it...

Denton may not support UNT sports that well but it's an actual town.

Anyone who has been in sales knows when you are not making sales in a particular territory that you simply move to another.

No, not saying that we give up on Denton but we should move beyond the Denton city limits to where there are about 600,000 other prospects and that being in Denton County to sell our Mean Green product and I don't think that is or has been happening--at least on a regular basis with visable results.

GMG!

PS: Rice is kicking Marshall's arse FWIW...

Question: Now does the winner of this game most definitely get the Liberty Bowl?

Yes, unless the SEC vetoes it.
