Best CUSA out of conference wins?

Ponder this.

I could only find four, count 'em, four CUSA wins over out of conference bowl eligible teams.

UNT over Ball State 10 - 2 ....Clearly the best CUSA win.

The other three:

Tulsa over Colorado State 7 - 5

East Carolina over North Carolina 6 - 6

Tulane over La Monroe 6 - 6

Unfortunately UTSA did not help with this stat going 1-3 in OOC play. We lost to very good bowl eligible teams (Oklahoma State, Arizona and Houston) and only beat New Mexico. Our OOC schedule is identical next year so hoping for 2-2

Where do you expect the extra win to come from?

Not expecting necessarily just hopeful. We might be able to play Arizona better at home and possibly steal a win vs Houston (that game was back and forth until 4^th quarter, 6 turnover swing)

I get fan optimism, but I don't anything that tells me that you are going to fair better next season with the OOC schedule you have. Good luck though.
