They were a no-show. Because the UNT vs Tulsa game was on Thanksgiving weekend, the Tulsa band decided not to attend. They had a local high school band sit in the stands instead.

Not that I was disappointed but I am very sure the Green Brigade would have been present in full force if it was at Apogee if not in Tulsa if they had been allowed.

All I know is I kept looking for the band on the alumni side if the stadium because that's whee the sound was coming from, yet there was no band over their.

Bounce back acoustics at its best.

TU has always had a small band. It's the smallest school in FBS, anyway, and the band gig is volutary. I mean, you're talking about a school where the football team alone comprises about 3% of the undergraduate enrollment.

A 300 person marchng band would be 10% of TU's undergraduate enrollment. I mean, one of every ten students would have to be in the marching band to get a band the size of a state school outfit. TU just doesn't have a big enough undergrad enrollment to field a decent band. Never has.
