It doesn't matter...Michigan ain't coming here, nor any other Big Ten team.

A Big 10 team going to the HOD Bowl is half the puzzle. In the four year history, there has always been a Big 10 team in the HOD. Why would this year be different?

ETA - besides the fact that Big 10 has lost every HOD Bowl.

Doesn't look like we'll be going to the Military Bowl, like CBS has predicted.

"One thing I can tell you: It's not going to be North Texas," Beck said, indirectly referencing the CBSSports projections that have the Mean Green headed to Annapolis."

This is from an interview with Military Bowl executive director Steve Beck.

As has been mentioned elsewhere . . . Ohio State playing in the BCS Championship game takes a team away from filling the Big 10's bowl slots, thus not leaving them enough teams to send one to the HOD Bowl. The only chance that HOD gets a Big 10 team is if Ohio State loses, or if something crazy happens to bump Michigan State from the Rose Bowl.

Michigan was always my favorite team growing up and my number 2 since 2002. Since the #1 vs #2 dead Bo game of 2006 there ain't been a more Jekyll/Hyde team out there. If Michigan came into the HOD focused and determined they'd tan our bottoms. Bottom. Following that game on Saturday and with 95% of their players not having a clue who we are I think we'd have a punchers chance. The idea of beating or scaring the pants off of the winningest team in college football history in North Texas' backyard is enough to have my football pants flying around the room.
