Backups who caught your eye vs. Tulsa

Sir Calvin Wallace has a little something.

Dutton Watson seemed like he got a little winded. Come on man this is your chance to show what you can do.

Like has already been said, Ellis and Scott look strong at linebacker.

It was great to see Marcus Smith get a big catch. Scary to think what he could be in the next couple of years.

Don't know why we don't use or target Marcus Smith more? He's a weapon we don't target nearly enough, amongst others in this offensive ''system".

It's simple he doesn't catch the ball. I bet if he cures his case of the dropsies he would be targeted more. I will say this though he would always be my first guy off the bus. Dude just looks like a supreme athlete. I hope he is able to put it all together next year. He could be a part of an explosive offense.

Sir Calvin has been a real project for McCarney since he arrived at UNT.

I was impressed by his play and enthusiasm on the first three plays he was on the field against Tulsa.

This kid is a sleeper - The jury is still out - But he has come a long, long way physically since he arrived at UNT.

More importantly, there has been a BIG change in attitude; an aggressiveness that was pretty much absent when he first arrived at UNT.

His physicality and attitude now are big improvement from what I witnessed during Sir Calvin's Chapel Hill Bulldog days.

GMG and go Sir Calvin.
