I really wanted us to post 60+ on them after watching what they did to us during the Dodge era and again with Mac. But I don't mind sportsmanship either, especially if you're in someone else's house.

Hearing the Tulsa fans' frustration reminded me of the final 2 years under Dodge.

Kinda started to feel bad for them.

Really wish they were not leaving. A great little town, cool old timey college stadium, and some of the nicest fans I have ever met. Even ran into one of their old coaches at breakfast (Nolan was the last name, maybe Mike was the first?). Said he was a finalist for the NTSU job when Corky got the nod. Also coached with Mac at Iowa St. Had nothing but good things to say about Mac. Retired and living in DFW now.

Even was asked by the president of the university how we liked the campus while walking around the commons (of course, I didn't know it was the prez until the senior day presentation on the field before the game).

I do agree we could have run it up on them as they did us the last couple showings and it may have felt good. They were classless but it's not Mac's style. There's no reason to be chicken sh$! like they were.

Same here. Nice fans, even at the restaurant where we were outnumbered a couple of dozen to 3...lol. And it was definitely an easy day trip to make. Wouldn't have been bad with an 11 or 6 kick either...hotels seem very affordable.
