What is our overall series record?

If you count when we played against them as a Div 1-AA school (or lower), the series is a ridiculous 28-4-1 in favor of SMU. If you only count the time we were playing at the same level as SMU, we're 2-7 against them. Out of that, if you only count the games where we weren't playing a profe$$ional team, the series is at 3-2 in favor of SMU.

It's actually flattering. Sure they'd be embarrassed. When you talk sh$t and don't back it up it hurts. We need to embarrass them. Just like the last time we played them.

Hmmmm UTSA game anyone?

Emmitt's obsession with SMU reminds me of the UTSA obsession with UNT a couple of weeks ago (some still won't leave our fan site).

Do we really need to be THAT needy?

Really?

Yeah, that was the game that Meager played himself out of a starting job. He only threw for 601 yards.

And afterwards, two of our greatest fans on this board walked out of the concourse complaining about how terrible DM was while walking RIGHT behind his mother the whole time.

So to smooth the moment over and say what I wanted to say anyways because it was deserving, I just walked up to her, hugged her and told her how proud of him I was. Through all the pain and suffering he had gone through...fighting back from the broken femur in HS, to being thrown to the wolves by Dickey and getting his head bashed in,.. that to see an option-trained kid turn prolific passer in a matter of weeks was amazing, and that most of us appreciated him very much.

I thought we were in D1aa only 14 years

Thinking about finding someone to make a small scale shopping cart and put it on a plaque or at the top of trophy and presenting it to the team when we beat the hell out of them next year.

Just beat them like a rented mule, shake their hands and walk off the field like it is no big deal...because it isn't.

Is not Mccarney a well documented wife beating misogynist? Think SMU could do without this type individual.

NTSU can keep that guy.

Correct. Granted the allegations date back to the early 90's, but that still isn't the guy you'd want to represent SMU.

Riiiiiight, cause the school who is famous for recieving the death penalty and an internet meme regarding a former player killing prostitutes while attending the school is ALLLLLLL about integrity.

Will Mac use their trash talk against them?

"This is what smu thinks of you, UNT, and your football team. What are you going to do about it." ect.

I'm sure Coker used it the same way against us. Motivation comes in all shapes and sizes.

We just need to stick it to them bad a few times and get their respect.
