From the Colorado Board:

Even more so for some kids from little East Texas towns...having lived in TX for 11 years, it is a unique place and some just cannot envision being somewhere else and a lesser program in TX trumps a BCS program outside the state. Weird, but true in some instances. Goree is a player IMO, and would love to see him here, but if he wants to stay near home, not much you can do.

Must be nice to suck ass year in/year out and call yourself a bc$ program.

But if we really want a player and can't out-recruit North Texas for him, it's a problem.

Looks like you have some problems

Some mama's boys simply refuse to leave home...

Classy. Didn't his mother pass away? Or was it someone else close to him?

It'd be awful if we couldn't out recruit North Texas, but I worry that this dude may want to play close to home. Hope he decides he'd rather play Pac-12 competition instead.

To be fair here, I don't know if they actually play.

He probably just wants to win and knows there's 0% of Colorado ever winning anything except a consolation prize in the PAC 12.

One thing I have noticed with DT is that he is a much better QB the more he throws. He needs to get into a rhthym. Can't just go out there and start nailing receivers from the 1st throw. His good games are where we have thrown the ball early and often. His bad games are where we pound our head against a 9 man front and only throw late.

He wasn't successful against Ball St. early. It took some time to find that rhthym.

Diet Coke Boy and I have often discussed this exact thing. DT is a lot like Romo. It seems that sometimes a bad throw or two will get in his head and then he's just not "on" from there on out. On the other hand, if you let him throw 8-10 intermediate passes that he completes his confidence level grows and he starts to hit on the longer stuff. Also, he looks 100% better when we speed up the tempo...less thinking, more going with the flow.
