Idea to support our players in the NFL

So I kicked this around a bit at our first alumni mixer here in AZ, and though we haven't gone to a game together yet, it went over well when we discussed it and I thought I'd share in case you guys wanted to try something similar.

Even if you aren't in or near Cleveland, Dallas, or Oakland, if their team visits and you are at the game you could still do it. And, you wouldn't have to feel weird because you could still wear home team colors. It's pretty simple...just have a big sign (or multiple signs if there are a bunch of you) saying something like "Mean Green Nation Loves Lance Dunbar" or "North Texas Alumni Support Jamize Olawale" or "Go Craig Robertson, North Texas Is With You".

If anybody asked about it, you wouldn't have to be rooting for their team, just tell them you want a good game and hope to see some action from the guy that went to your alma mater. Of course for those of you who go to Cowboys games and root for Dallas it would be much less controversial, but I don't think it would be too upsetting to local fans if you were elsewhere and spread some Green love to our guys.

Plus, it might get some notice on TV and if it popped up all over the country (since many of us live far away) it could get a lot more attention if the Mean Green Family everywhere was publicly supporting our guys. We also talked about doing it at a Suns game if Tony was to play when the Pistons visit.

Thoughts?
