A lot of criticism on playcalling and DT yesterday. There was a lot of talk about how DT had improved this year but lately it seems like he's regressed. To me it's because we're trying too hard to hit throws down the field. DT's successful games like Idaho, Ball State, and K-State last year featured dink and dunk fests. Outs, slants, hitches, bubble screens. Keep it simple, let him hit the easy stuff, and get his confidence up.

Not trying to sound like I've had a playcalling epiphany. Myself and others have been calling for this all year. 2 more games left, will we go back to dinking and dunking, or why won't we?

UTSA seemed to have no problem going with this game plan. Of course they'd have to be on crack not to play to the weakness in our defensive scheme (10 yard cushions). I mean, NOT dinking and dunking would be about as stupid as running straight into a 9 or 10 man front.
