We've had worse losses. UTSA is just a blink. Keep moving forward. We can either be in a pit or pick ourselves up and keep building something special. We lost a battle, not the war. We have more important things to strive for than worrying about this game. Rest assured UTSA will have their down days in their program. It's part of the game.

Did anyone end up drinking the spiked koolaid? Vito had mentioned it would be consumed if we lost this game.

I actually swanned dived off the top of Apogee like I threatened, and I am now posting as a ghost.

Just remember that early in Gary Patterson's HC career they (TCU) lost to Northwestern State of La. There are probably still a bunch of TCU fans who are so ignorant that they thought they lost to the REAL Northwestern......and I bet that the TCU athletic dept hasn't corrected that notion either.

This one hurts. I would've taken a Southern Miss letdown over a loss to UTSA. Yeah, I said it and yes I'm severely overreacting. :P

You guys and your bet is killing me now, I could do without seeing that road kill logo on all your avatars.

No doubt we can make a bad team look good at a time.

I think that we're in a time warp and we're living the 2012 season over again. Running off guard on first down every series. Overthrowing receivers. Receivers breaking off routes. Tacklers not wrapping up. Bending defense that let's the other team march downfield and eat up the clock (but at least limited their scoring). It was deja vu all over again for this one game.

Even if this flashback is only for one game it came at the wrong time.

After a day's rest and thawing out, the stink is off. We lost, it happens. Now it's time to go take care of Tulsa.

I'm not quite there yet, but getting there quivker than I expected. Just need to keep the whole season in perspective.

I still don't why NT seemed to come out so flat for such an important game. UTSA beat NT in almost every possible way.

Roger that, Grand Green, and we had two weeks to prepare. I know I was over confident for this game, perhaps they were too.

Need to win at Tulsa and go 8-4 plus a bowl.

Think about how that compares to most expectations before the season started.

UNT is much better than a lot of folks expected, and so is UTSA. That is great for Texas football in C-USA.

Now as we enjoy our Thanksgiving and what it means, think about the players getting prepared for the game.

Sure, losing to UTSA hurts a lot, but this 2013 Mean Green team has already exceeded most expectations.

Enjoy that!

There were worse losses in CFB the same weekend, let alone in history. Florida lost to FCS, for one!

We will go on. UTSA will go on.

It's also a bit disturbing to see the same extracurricular activities in Coker's squads carry from from city to city. I'm glad he is not in Denton. He'll win some games for UTSA, but they can keep him.

Bright side: we are still going bowling and it looks like it could be close to home!
