Student section was light for sure and so was the Eagle Wing section. I'm guessing 16,500.

There was 15 - 16k is about what I figured. Announced or not.

This is better than I would have ever guessed given all the conditions of this game and a great improvement. What a big difference it has been since I first bought season tickets in 2001

Crowd was a pleasant surprise. Better than I thought for the conditions. I was layered and still froze my obama. That was the coldest 40-degree day I have experienced in years.

I was a bit disappointed in the crowd. I was really expecting a larger crowd considering how good UNT is this year. Granted, this is only my first year at UNT, so i don't have a good feel of the usual crowd numbers. Plus, that little issue of cold weather...

Still, the 20k or so that was there made plenty of noise. It made for a good game environment.

Would like to have heard another "North - Texas" chant. Think i only heard it once. It's pretty cool to hear.

ASU had 18K for an 0-10 opponent and no title on the line, sad could not get more students especially out to the game for UNT to only get 19K and, but 20K is improvement
