I'm getting PowerPointed to death at a conference so I need some amusement. So, I'm flying back into DFW from the east coast late Friday night, doing a charity ride in Denton Saturday morning, and better have time for beers before the game. I am working hard to get back to watch a win. We better win. The good guys better not come out flat after the bye week, like Tulane. Thoughts? Weather should be good too. How will attendance look? Any injury updates? Any discussion other than the classless visiting team's fans.

They also had a bye. Might be chilly but essier to keep your beer cold. Second string and third string rbs are out. I'm bringing some old friends from san antonio who have been to a utsa game (not knock on utsa) but did not enjoy it. I said ill show them a real college game day experience.

As I said in the other thread...22K is looking like reality. Alumni sales are decent, and it is preview day. UTSA is all talk, no game when it comes to ticket sales. 200 ticket office sales, 120 from Rowdy Talk. Preview Day will fill the Wing. It's not ideal but it's a really bad week for student attendance.

UTSA has no running backs and rumor mill says Soza was banged up. It will be a fun and rowdy atmosphere for all involved. I think UTSA will realize that it's about the atmosphere and not just the numbers come Saturday.

Looking like Darnell Smith will play, from what Mac said at the presser. He basically said that Smith, who he did not refer to by name but rather ambiguously, would have missed a game last week if there would have been one but should be good to go on Saturday.

Seniors like Abbe and Bellazin said they made it a priority to not come out lackadaisical on the bye week. Senior leadership has been a strength of this team all year and I would expect nothing less on their senior night.

What is "Preview Day"?

Prospective students and their families come and tour the campus. I was an ambassador last year so I was really involved with it. It's really quite fun. We need to have a great atmosphere to make what they've heard about us this year true.
