Attendance this saturday?

hard to say. I know our allotment was only 250-300, and sold out, so our ticket office referred fans to UNT to buy tickets. I don't know how many purchased through UNT. Rowdytalk's group buy is around 125 IIRC. Add the band, players' families, etc.

I'd guess at least 1000.

Wish it was 7000.

Yeah, I'm more concerned now. But the NOAA and WUnderground still says 20%, so I'm still feeling positive. Also WFAA is still decently confident. I just think we'll be alright. I am worried about the crowd now a bit.

I'm probably not the best person to ask but I'll give it a shot. I believe they're a little smaller this year, with around 200 members. Not sure about their music style. If I remember correctly, the band director had a pretty good resume, but I don't know the details.

I'm pro-UTSA in the football game, but during my time here at UNT... Damn, ain't no touching Green Brigade! The UNT band is legit. What else do you expect from one of the premiere music programs in the country.

But anyway, UTSA's band the Spirit of San Antonio (or SOSA as they're known in the streets) is pretty good for how young they are. Here's some YouTube video of them from last year.

They're still finding their own style, but they do have some fun on the field. In the stands they still need to build their music repertoire. But like I said, they're still growing.

Yeah, I bought two extras for the game, but only one of them will be used. I will make sure that I leave and come back so it gets counted either way.

Me and my teenage sons are dressing in layers and heading to Apogee soon. A blizzard couldn't keep me away from cheering on our team, especially the senior class. We have bitched about our team for years, they have delivered the wins, us fans can deliver in attendance.

Right now North Texas is averaging 21,369 a game. 13,500 for the UTSA game will insure us a season average of over 20,000, and will set an all time record. I know the weather is rough, but I expect to see a crowd well over 13,500.
