Saw a Player on the Sideline...

#73, last name Claiborne (I believe) that was in a jersey and warm up pants. Huge man but not listed in the program. Anybody know anything about him?

I saw the same player and wondered the same thing. Since it's obvious he is a lineman, my question is OL or DL? I hope DL.

It's Clayton, and I've seen him in an episode of beyond the green. Hoping he's a d-lineman, because that boys big and we all know we need big defensive tackles

Speaking of potential DTs, the more I see Trevor Melugin walk around the sideline, the more I would like to see him get some work at DT. I am having trouble seeing him work his way into the OLine depth chart. He appears to be built like a fire plug with a powerful lower body. I would be interested to know his squat and bench #'s.

There are at least a dozen players that I see walking around the sidelines in a jersey and shorts with names/numbers that are not on the roster. I am guessing they are some sort of walkons that are likely working out with the team, but not getting to suit up for the game. I am curious if anyone knows the story regarding these players.

Yup. He isn't on the roster. Not sure if he's a transfer, freshman walkon or what. But the kid is big and looks like he could play defensive tackles.

Yup. Our ends could line up like they do in a 4-3, but we'd only need Clayton to fill our spot at defensive tackles. Then we could have four linebackers. Hello national championship!
