Since the "North Texas" logo was pulled off the green helmets, basically ruining most of those because they stretch out and some rip, to put the SOW on, I don't see us going back to "North Texas" the rest of the year. Otherwise we would have to reorder new "North Texas" stickers. And then ruin a majority of the "SOW" stickers.

In other words, I just don't see us going back and forth the next 3 to 4 games. I think the SOW is here for good.

This being the 100th year of UNT football and seeing as how we are likely to be in a bowl we could always do real "centennial" uniform. I know we did the one at the beginning of the year but what about one with gold accents, manny teams around the world do this for their 100th.

Maybe a gold helmet with green SOW

either chrome like Baylor

or a more matte finish like Notre Dame

I feel like years ago I watched a doc or a news segment that discussed ND helmets and stated that they are repainted, with real gold flake paint, each night, prior to the game. Which I think is awesome and absurd. And I would love for Marcus Trice to be able to knock one of those clean off the head of an Irish.
