Who is Neal Pyles and why is he taking that pot shot at UNT? SMU student perhaps? Must be...guy knows ZERO about UNT judging by that lame tweet. Love the photo...the guy's comment...not so much. Can that be deleted from the photo on here?

Mike's smiling because I told him I was thinking about going ahead and getting my checkbook out and getting it over with!

You can also see The Alumni Association's Rob McKinney in the background...thanks for all your hard work on this event, Rob....and that is none other than UNTFan23 in the visor checking out the fireworks and the bonfire.

Great fun!

It was a great crowd. Had to deal with some rude students who loved saying the F word with kids around. Best part of the night was Zach Orr pointing at the students and said..."at game time get off the Hill and come watch us hit UTEP in the mouth. If you see someone staying on the hill, grab them by the neck and haul them inside." Greatness.

They honored the Talons at half time of the bball game. I don't know if I've seen that many talons in one place.

I wonder if any Talon alums were ther (at the bball game). Wouldn't surprise me if they had the alums watch the stack while the current members got their shoutout at the game. We have a bunch come back for Bonfire every year. Unfortunately I haven't gone back for a Homecoming with the Bonfire in about ten years (I managed to have bad luck and come back in the Katrina changed HC year and then a burn banned cancelled Bonfire two years ago).

And Bonfire was basically be my favorite thing in the world. So, yeah I get kinda sad thinking about it.
