Attendance?

I wasn't able to make it out to the first exhibition game, but how was the attendance?

I know it was just an exhibition, but I was wondering if the students came out and if they seemed excited?

From my freshman year to last year, I was huge into the team. I just can't bring myself to care. Maybe it makes me a bad fan. It's just depressing to watch a program on the rise implode and watch the AD not care.

in the student section...less than 17...who knows where else they could have been sitting though

Agreed. As one of the biggest NT basketball fans the past decade, the program needs to win a lot of fans back, including myself. Last year was a complete disaster and embarrassment. Until the team and coaches can prove they know what they're doing, or the AD can prove they care, it's just not something worth supporting. I went through down years with JJ, because it felt like rebuilding or bad luck. Last year's team was just incompetence, and I'm not supporting that with my money.

yep...not many there...but it was an exhibition...they could have been scattered around the pit...

Oddly, I've never received that solicitation. Not via mail, not via phone. They must have a "Doesn't watch basketball" marked next to my name or something.

they noticed i had purchased single game tickets last year, so called to infer if i wanted season tickets this year. when i buy a ticket, i call the ticket office and they charge my card on file...guess that's how they always know that i've purchased tickets.

Truth be told I wasn't planning on buying season tickets but the tickets rep called me to follow up and the NT homer in me gave in and bought it for the season. He ended up discounting them a little bit because I think they knew a lot or some people wouldn't be renewing and coming back this season.

Got my tickets and ready to go. The students were spread out last game but the student section itself was pretty dead.Maybe 1k people were there?

We gave in at the last minute too. I would hate to lose our seats when we get a competent coach again.

First time in here since the upgrades. Holly cow. I love the new lighting system. The place doesn't seem as bland anymore.

The upgrades make us look more big time than ever before. Court and scoreboard look great also new shot/game clocks on the goal supports.

As for attendance, with about 4 minutes until tip there are about 200-300 people here
