As long as Ball St. wins the ones they should, a loss to NIU probably won't drop them out of the top 50. But a win against NIU probably puts them in the Top 25.

Rice, MTSU and Ball State to winning out would help us look tons better.

we need to win out have Tulane lose again and have Ball State win, that should push us above ECU for CUSA hosting provided they win out as well

Let's concentrate on UTEP.

Are fans not allowed to talk about other topics other than *Insert This week's game here*? There's only so much to be analyzed with UTEP when we are so heavily favorited, let everyone enjoy the success of the season. Now if we were players I would absolutely be keeping them focused on this week's game, but that's a different story.

Lets just sum it up like this: NTs 3rd best win is still loads better than SMUs best win... and that doesn't even take margin of victory into account, otherwise it'd be even heavier that way.

Out best win is almost 20 slots better than Baylor's best win, a team that almost every DFW media member slobbers over.

Would love to see Baylor in a bowl vs. Alabama or FSU

I'm excited to see Baylor play some decent teams starting this week - especially since their opponents so far have combined for 9 wins. This whole thing where the Big 12 waited until November for almost every interesting matchup to not at all game the rankings system early is pretty ingenius. I still have no idea if anyone in the conference is that good, but it's too late to question it. Props for creativity in a year where almost every team is down and looked to be down in the offseason.

You should email this post to the idoits still voting TCU and SMU ahead of UNT in the DMN poll.

It would open their eyes, as I promise you they are merely voting on perception.
