I haven’t had a chance to mention it on the blog until now, but there was a familiar name that came up in the NBA Developmental League Draft this week.

Former UNT guard Michael Sturns was taken in the fifth round by the Austin Toros.

There is no way Sturns make the Toros team. They are the NBDL affiliate of the Spurs. And Spurs are built on defense and sharing the ball. And unless Sturns has completely changed his ball hogging ways and learned to at least pretend he's playing defense, he won't see the end of traing camp. Hope I'm wrong, but smart money says I'm not.
