The wish wasn't whose side fills up - the wish is that we show our support for this team by being in our seats when they hit the field. I understand this last game had its own issues (traffic, holiday, etc.), but very often I worry at kick-off if the alumni are gonna show! They get there "eventually."

That's odd, because I would say the same thing about the student side during kickoff as opposed to the end of the 1st quarter.

Let's just all do our part, huh? No need to start this stupid argument.

The crowds will get larger but I don't know how you cure arriving late.

Raffle for the first 10-15K, get your ticket AFTER you walk in. Drawing with 5 minutes left in the 4th, must be present to win.

Well.. once again I know that are many many students that are filling up the gaps in the alumni section.. I know that me and the 12 or so with us ended up leaking into the alumni section because the doc students arent rowdy enough for the student side.

The issue is going to be what happens when there is not enough "room" on the student side and they start bleeding over more and more to other parts of the stadium

We had some students that snuck over to the upper portion of the alumni side, but after The Stand, they moved down to our rowdy section in 105.

The Alum side for the Rice game was sad.

Depends on the section.

No.

The student side was considered sold out. Never happened before.

Considered by whom?

Maybe the distributed tickets were gone, but that means about 20% of the students who took the time to get tickets didn't bother to go to the game.

Have a hard time believing that.
