This kid has stepped up from a walk-on to a key member of the D. Against Rice they were trying to attack him with the short passes hoping that the WR could make a move and be gone. If Buyers were to miss any of those tackles it would've gone to the house. His play on Thursday was huge.

I don't know why it didn't dawn on me until this game how FAST our defense is. I knew they hit hard. I knew they'd mastered the art of the tackle. But I never realized that they've got track star speed to boot. It's so much fun to watch.

Jimmy Johnson's strategy was to get the fastest player at any given position. Worked out for him.

Love this guys effort and sure tackle skills. Nice knowing we'll have him for a couple more years. Will be really nice when he is a senior and is a little thicker as well.
