Blackout Game Jerseys

I'm really excited to see these blackout jerseys. From what I've heard, no press has seen them. There are no sneak peeks. The players see them for the first time when they step off the bus from coming from the hotel and go into their locker room. I would love to see their reactions. Also heard a rumor that the jerseys will start becoming part of the jersey rotation.

I guess I get the wow factor of debuting a special occasion uni, but for the most part, I have never understood the complete cloak and dagger, rumor, he said/she said character of college sports. I guess it's a bona fide marketing technique whose technical name escapes me, but I still find it all really strange.
