In Norris, a 6-foot sophomore who sat out last season after transferring from North Texas, the Coyotes have a true point guard, according to James.

“He is very fast with the basketball and explosive in the open court,” James said. “The thing I like most is that he is a pass-first point guard and we haven’t had that in quite some time. He’s young and has to improve defensively, but he will do a nice job of balancing our team in the half court.”
