If DT can get us through this game without his customary 1 or 2 interceptions I think we'll win and I'll leave him alone from here on out.

NT - 24

Rice - 17

I think a Mean Green victory will come down to forcing at least 2 turnovers and keeping Rice's rushing game to under 150 yards.

I don't think Rice will score as much on the Defense as some think.

Same thought here and with the elimination of the offensive turnover returned deep in our end of the field or returned for six, I say:

NT: 31

Rice: 13

Now that the wind is a factor, I have no freaking clue.

Without wind: I would have predicted a high scoring game. I just don't think we'd be able to stop Taylor, which really opens things up for Rice. I also don't think that they'd be able to stop us.

With massive wind gusts: It'll be tough for them to toss up jump balls to Taylor, and our running game hasn't exactly been good when the pass hasn't been there to open it up. Should be a defensive slug-fest.

No matter what, Jimmerson needs to hold on to the d@mn ball tonight. With Pegram out, he is going to be a key for us. I've liked what I've seen from Rollins, though. If JimJim can't protect the ball, get someone in there that can. That or Byrd needs to have a career night. He just might against this Rice front 7.

EDIT: Just checked weather and wind should start dying down around game time. Expect a shootout.
