I hope you're right but week night game ... Halloween ... I'd be very happy with 18k.

I really hope the students decide to show up. To me there's less excuse to not show up because it's on a weekday. Plus real Halloween parties don't start until 10 or 11PM, so that's plenty of time to go to the game and still party afterwards.

Large student turnout puts 20k in the stands.

If this were a Saturday game instead of a halloween Thursday night game, then 25k would be possible.

Win this game and combine it with good weather on November 9th, and we may see over 25k for homecoming.

I've been back and forth on this one. I think we see a bigger student turnout than we have in years. However, as many have noted, it being Thursday night might keep away casual fans. My hope is that the droves of students overflow the east side and we see a black and green mass spill out into other parts of the stadium. A loud 23k.

I haven't been involved as a student in quite sometime, but is there some sort of "Mean Green Walk" that starts on campus and ends at the stadium? Seems like that would be a cool way to get students out of their dorms and to the game.

North Texas will need to put a 2 or 3 year football seasons winning streak together for us to get all the new faces to hit 25,000 up to 31,000 capacity. Only chance for that now is if the UNT student body shows up in an all time record numbers high on Halloween Night.

New faces? In past decades we've (all but) teased the casuals and borderliners with "This is The Year To Jump On Board" only to disappoint and lose them because many times "It Was Not The Year."

God, if I'm wrong about some of your high turnout predictions for Halloween Night I'll eat a nice helping of southern fried crow (and enjoy every bit of it).

This team deserves SRO Halloween Night truth be told.

I'm hoping for a great turnout. With little kids being there, many will have to leave at half time due to bed times and school night. I hope the UNT students will be in force. Going to be a great game and atmosphere.

Hope the fans come out to show respect for the wonderful job DMac and Team have done the last 3 games, they have put foot too ass, now it is time for the students and metroplex to put foot to ground and get their asses into the stadium.

Would hope the campus and the city would be buzzing for this game. Promote, Promote, Promote!!!

If the rain ends by kickoff (as its supposed to) I'll go with 20k. If it's still raining somewhere around 15k. Surprise me to the upside Mean Green Country!

We could fill Apogee up Thursday night with the right promotion. That said, let's not forget the A Train service with the shuttle service back and forth to the stadium. this has been an experiment and may not return if not used. Why not a simple ad in the DMN about this service for our Dallas area alums? For better or for worse and whether we like it or not, advertising works. This is a concept that seems to be lost on our promotions dept.(or whatever it is called).

FWIW, I think our athletic dept. has done a pretty decent job promoting this game. You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink.

Keep in mind, Rice is doing REALLY well, so I wonder how many fans will travel with them to the game? Being that it's on National TV, will they bring their band also? Last year the U-LaLa game was on National TV (Tuesday or Thursday, cant remember...) and they brought their band.

Hate that this is on a Thursday night. Hard to travel from out of town for a weeknight game. I love the television coverage, but wish this were on Saturday.
