I saw him limping a bit coming off a run in the 4th quarter. My guess is that he's fine (just a stinger) and Mac is using the perceived injury to his advantage as a trap card.

Yep. He walked off very gingerly but under his own power.

Our backs are doing an adequate job. But, can you imagine this team if we still had a Dunbar, Cobbs, Galbreath or J Thomas (at his peak) type of back ?

Agree.....as we may very well need Rex Rollin's speed to the outside this Thursday night, too.

He runs a 4.5 but many we have seen in the NCAA with that speed sometimes play like they run a 4.2....haven't we

seen that before in Mean Green Country?

Emmitt Smith of Cowboy fame did not have a fast 40 at all but you could never tell sometimes with his

"burst of speed" runs to the endzone.

PS: At our Fouts Field game versus Rice a few years ago they beat us with overall better team speed (IMO) albeit

they barely beat us.

Walking off the field doesn't mean a thing when it comes to knee injuries. You can walk on knees injuries that can sideline a player for a week or a year. I'm really hoping to hear some good news but we'll be ok if it's not.

It happened sometime in the midst/culmination of these two plays - his last TD run. Someone got to his knee awkwardly.

Kinda looked like he was a little gimpy on the TD run.

to me it looked like it happened on the td. I wasn't too worried until he tweeted something about praying for him on sunday. I just assumed it was about the injury.

this is a big loss if he misses the game. he seems to get the hard yards that byrd and jimmerson can't get.
