Great game where I believe the better team lost. My hot takes: Haggerty shooting 11-14 from the floor including that desperation 3 won't happen again. Newell's two missed FT's late, Walker's late missed layup on the fast break and Wright and Jossell's struggles kept us from winning. I think Memphis, with their athleticism, is a team that Wright will struggle against, but Jossell not hitting some open three's that are uncharacteristic of him. Lorient's missed dunk where they reversed, rightly so, the goal tending call hurt as well. Have to finish at the rim. Massie is just too out of control. As mentioned above, I would rather see his minutes go to Mason or Cotton if he isn't going to improve. Would love to see Walker stop passing up some open threes early in a possession. He has the shot. Memphis is very beatable. Their fans are garbage. -
