Good God! :( And how much were we ahead when this happened?

We need not burn the barn down to kill the mouse (or to kick some school's butt, either).

I really think our "D" could have held onto this win even at the beginning of the 3'rd quarter.

Oh well, we are fans and alums and always have that unique, special right to 2'nd guess, right? :)

Heal up fast, Mr. Pegram, we will really need you this Thursday night.

PS: Amazing how non-ranked SMU just got a SportsCenterU video highlight before an emtpy Ford Stadium. Is it that we are not $moozing enough at UNT? We have the better team, right. Goose Gosselin? And darn, wouldn't this have been a year to have played local Big Shot TCU, too, right? ;)

I believe that everyone on the traveling squad played except Berglund. I believe that he loses a year of elibibility whether he plays or not so why did we play the first team into the fourth quarter? This is a short week; the game was already won. These guys bust their butts and deserve to play. They need the experience.

He's in Osborn's house, and he can't get out!

I'd definitely put my money on the Mean Green over TCU if the game was played at the Nest

      Contracts could be for one+ year(s). Employee status would bring tax questions into play. FICA and income taxes would be due .

      Do we still only play 7-8? 😝 This is what I have. This was tough. We’ve had some pretty great players. Lorient is more potential that straight up production.       Big dumb question.

      Why put players under contract when in the current form, you can just dispose of those who aren't performing every season? Scholarships are currently renewed on a yearly basis. Putting players under contract would mean you'd be looking at deals worth 2+ years. What happens when a guy just isn't working out but you're on the hook for another year so the scholarship can't be used for somebody else? I know you could say with "NIL," you could just give enough to cover tuition and some extra but I doubt the boosters would want to pay that much for an unknown player just because a scholarship is used up on another bad player. Reality is, coaches hate when players leave after a great season but those same coaches are quick to push guys into the portal if they're not working out. I'd be all for contracts at our level, though. Contracts mean you can include buyouts so if you really hit on a prospect, I'd love for UNT and our NIL to get some money back for developing a good player.
