I don't think he can redshirt -- if he can't and he's healthy again he could give us a big boost on the D-Line. But I do agree if there is a good chance he can get a medical redshirt you do it...

We will discuss this with Vito tonight on the podcast!

I don't think saving him for next season is very likely. Even if he doesn't play this year, next year is probably his last year of eligibility. 6th years are hard to come by. And I can't recall us ever getting a 6th year for a player . . . maybe Nathan Tune? But I can recall a few supposed slam-dunks for the 6th year getting turned down.

Roll him out there now, we are only half way through the season. We have a chance to do something this season, which would help recruiting immensely! Recruiting leads to several players, not just one.

Agree with this 100% We have a legit chance to go to a bowl this year. Let's not waste it.

I dont think we are in a position to hold off playing anyone who can help us win right now. The future of our program can't take another losing season. If Brown can contribute play him now.

Mac has already said that his eligibility is done after next season and that there is no way to get him more. He also said as soon as he is ready to play this season he will play.

It was a week or two ago that Mac said QB was doing one-on-one drills in practice but wasn't back to full contact yet.

Well -- you certainly don't want to rush him but if the doctors say he is ok he absolutely gives us a boost at the end of the season.

Play him now! (Or, you know, more like this Saturday). Don't want to sound so crass here, but we probably need him and his talents now for the finish topped off by a bowl game (as well as the additional 'ship his graduating this May will give us, too).

When is the last time in NCAA football did the initials QB not mean Quarterback?

GMG!

PS: I thought it had already been said that he would not be elgible for another RS (not matter what variety).
