Nice Article on the Defensive Line and Defense

Man, I am glad we are back to playing North Texas defense. The one thing I hated more than anything during the past few years under a coach that will remain nameless is the lack of commitment to defense. We have always played good defense and it is great to see what the team is doing this year. Zach Orr, deservedly so, receives most of the attention, as does Marcus Trice, but so many are playing really well this year for our defense. I think some of our unsung stars have been Big Dick Abbe, Ryan Boutwellm, Aaron Bellazin, Derek Akunne, Will Wright, James Jones and my personal favorite, Laramie Lee. I am sure I missed some well deserving young men, so feel free to add your favorite unsung defensive star this year.

When the season started I believed that our defensive line would be the weakest part of our team. I am glad to say that I was wrong about that. They are doing a good job and I hope it continues through the end of the year.
