I'd love to think that out of our final 5 games, we would at least be able to pull out 2 wins. Who are the most likely candidates? UTEP and UTSA? I know that we can't overlook ANY game at this point, but what are your thoughts?

Is Rice the best of the last 5?

I would be happier if we went at it and won out, it takes three more wins to have a winning season and a better shot at a bowl bid.

Two most challenging games left in the regular season may be Rice and Tulsa. We need a huge turnout on Halloween to help win against Rice. After hosting SA and EP, that leaves Tulsa on the road to close out the regular season. UNT is capable of winning all remaining games. Right now, the most important game remaining on the schedule is in Hattiesburg next weekend.

I was hoping Southern Miss would win today, but they'll just have to postpone winning for at least 2 more weeks.

That was before this week's games...and he has SMU going to the Beef O' Brady's? What are the chances they get to 6 wins? Does he even look at the standings and records? UNC to the bowl formerly known as Independence...and they have 1 win. I'm glad to have any recognition possible but geez...it's like he skimmed over the ESPN bowl projections from the first couple of weeks and threw in a few tidbits without catching up on how the last 6 weeks have gone...
