North Texas vs. Louisiana Tech Watching Party - The North Texas vs. Louisiana Tech watching party will be at Fairview Down Under on 10/19 at 2:30pm. http://fairviewdownunder.com/ Fairview Down Under is located at The Village at Fairview, between Allen and McKinney at the northeast corner of US 75 and Stacy Road, behind the JC Penny. They have a full restaurant and bar. The game will be projected on the big screen as well as on various TVs throughout. The game audio will be piped throughout the restaurant. They will have several drink specials for Mean Green fans. They include:

· Choose from three special green shots for $3 each including

• Melon Balls
• Green Kamikazes
• Green Apples

· Buckets of Beer for $12

· Coach “Mac”tinis (Grey Goose Martinis) for $7

We will also have door prizes and a raffle.

I'm guessing you made it out there and that I met you. If so, I hope you had a great time.

I counted right at 20 Mean Green fans (and a couple bulldog spouses). That's about half what we've been having, but I know some of the regulars traveled to the game.

I about have a location for next week finalized. We'll have an alternate location since the game will be on Fox College Sports ( same channel the Tulane game was on). The alternate location is very likely to be Game On Sports Bar & Grill, also in Fairview, TX.

By the way, I tried one of the Coach Mactinis at the watching party. (Green Grey Goose martini.) I'm not a big martini drinker, but it was pretty good. Funny seeing it on the receipt.
