Best linebacker: Zach Orr, North Texas
A quick word: One of the most underrated players in the state, Orr's 55 tackles in six games puts him on pace for a second-straight 100-tackle season. That number is the second most for any player in Texas. Orr has added 3 TFLs, 3 QB hurries, 2 forced fumbles and a sack in his final season in Denton.

Scroll farther down the DCTF report to the "Odds and Ends" section.

North Texas RB Brandin Byrd had his first 100 yard game of the season, after getting 3 last season.

Congrats again to Brandin!

Lets have a winning season before we pick which bowl game we want but..

....some from Tulane want the Heart of Texas Bowl game which if CUSA Commish' Brit Banowsky doesn't stop that

cold in its tracks from happening I don't think he'd ever hear the last of it; all this contingent on our team being

bowl elgible, of course.

Still........Tulane in Dallas? Just look at how many they bring to SMU games to get a good barometer of that.

North Texas playing Iowa in Dallas (if we got lucky with that matchup)? One could get carried away with how many long lost

Mean Greeners would come out of the wood work if that ever happened. It would be such a huge wake up call for long dormant

DFW area UNT alums and a generation of UNT alums we lost during our years at the 1-AA level.

GMG!

Not to mention the crowd that would be on hand. Maybe more from Iowa, but still a good crowd.
