Tulane's remaining schedule:

vs. Tulsa

@Florida Atlantic

@UTSA

vs. UTEP

@Rice

I think you could make an argument that they could go 2-3 in that stretch... that would put them at 7-5 and 5-3 in conference. So they will most likely get to a bowl game but they still have some work to do to wrap up the west.

Rice looks like the favorite to win the west as they should be favored in all of their remaining games, they've alread beaten Tulsa and they get Tulane at home.

If we win up to the Rice game, I find it unlikely Rice will be favored against us, and if they somehow are, not more than a 2 or 3 point spread.

I thought it was weird how he still picked Tulsa to beat us.

He has Tulsa picked to win every C-USA West game except for Rice. Tulsa is a strange animal. With their talent, there is no reason why they should not be the best team in C-USA West. But they haven't shown it this year.

Sounds like my Texans.

The thing is Tulsa is startign to get slightly better it seems, but really only slightly, while Rice has been scraping by quite often, and you get the feeling that will go wrong at some point. Tulane has a great defense, but their offense was never great to start with and now Montana is out and more OL personell is out, I think they might have a tough time from here on out...Good things could happen to the mean green if they only manage to get this consecutive wins monkey off their back

Fixed it for you; although I can remember when we've won on the road, and I can't remember when we've won consecutive games.

With our success at home, I think Rice by 2 or 3 will be the spread, unless Rice loses its next 2 and we win our next 2, at which point UNT would be a 2 to 3 point favorite.

This game at this point is basically a toss up in Apogee at this point.

I can tell you, but you won't like it: 2004.

11/13/2004 Idaho 51-29

11/18/2004 @Ark St. 31-7

Those were the last two games in a *7* game win streak.

Tulane played both ecu & us at home. I'd be supprised if they get the "breaks" they got at home on the road?

Haven't you heard, their QB is the son of a legend. I'm sure the refs will be reminded of that.
